Good Seed Floral is known for their wild + romantic style, so we wanted to create a brand identity that reflected both of those themes in their work. We chose a font with noticeably sharp serifs, which feel a lot like thorns on the stem of a rose. This detail conveys their more wild, bold side. Then we customized a few of the letters to have smooth, organic curves to keep that romantic feeling.
We also wanted to create a fun floral pattern that could be used across their print collateral and social media. Since light, dainty floral illustrations are quite overused in the wedding industry, we wanted to go in a bolder direction that spoke more to their wild aesthetic and felt a little like a vintage stamp.
For the website, we wanted to make their audience feel celebrated and cared for before even booking with them. Through the warm colors, illustrations and copy, we made sure that each corner of the site felt beautiful and thoughtful. We also wanted to guide other florists to check out their workshops and resources, so much of the site strategy revolved around consistently guiding people to those places.
